With your ViewTech VJ-3A Dual Camera Video borescope, two different sets of menu functions are present: The System Settings Menu and the On Screen Left Function Menu. This brief video will review the functions that are located within the System Settings Menu of your ViewTech video borescope. To access the On Screen Left Function Menu, while in photo or video mode, press the up key or down key. This will display the following seven icons: LED Brightness, Special Effect, Zoom-In, Freeze, Grid, Rotation and Camera Switch The first function, LED Brightness, adjusts the brightness of the LEDs. Once selected, by pressing the Right or Left Adjustment Keys, you can increase or decrease the intensity of lighting. The 0 icon will turn off LED lighting, while the 6 icon is the brightest LED level of 10,000 LUX The next function, Special Effect, is used to switch between color or black and white. By pressing the Right Adjustment Key, the display will change, along with any photos or videos captured. The Zoom-In function, when selected, can digitally magnify the screen and inspection image or video up to 4 times the original size. Pressing the Right or Left Adjustment Keys switches between zoom levels. The next option, the Freeze Function, will freeze the current inspection image or video, creating a still image on the screen. Pressing the Right Adjustment Key will turn this feature on or off. Note – we caution to not move the insertion tube when this function in enabled. With no live display, any movement could damage the unit. With the Grid Function. An on-screen grid can be displayed. This is designed to provide a visual reference for the size of objects on the screen. The options that are available are no grid, thin, medium, or thick which can be displayed by pressing the Right or Left Adjustment Keys. The next function, Rotation, will flip and rotate the image that is displayed on your screen. By pressing the Right Adjustment Key, you can toggle between normal or upside down. The last function, Camera Switch, allows you to toggle between the forward or side view camera on your Dual Camera video borescope. When pressing the Right Adjustment Key, a FV icon will display when the forward view camera is operating or an SV when the side view camera is being utilized.
