Critical Passageways
krit-i-kuh l pas-ij-wey
noun
Definition
Critical Passageways are routes or tubes within a casted part that are critical to the function of appearance of that part. These passageways are usually very small, very intricate, and need to be inspected regularly. Because of the small size of these Critical Passageways the tiniest obstruction, debris, or residue from previous castings can alter the Casted Form in a way that renders it useless. Micro Borescopes and other articulating Video Borescopes with small Insertion Tube diameters are ideal for inspecting Critical Passageways to ensure that they are ready for the next casting.
