Endoscope

noun
Definition
Endoscopes are used by medical professionals to examine interior body cavities and organs. Insertion Points are the natural openings of the body. The modern-day Endoscope is the non-industrial inspection camera of choice for the medical industry. While still technically an Inspection Camera, Endoscopes aren’t built to withstand the harsh environments that can be found inside industrial machinery. Often coated in polyurethane or a plastic/polyester mix, Endoscopes have Insertion Tubes that can be easily disinfected and do not pose a risk for puncture while inside the body.
